As Executive Vice-President for the Restaurant & Hospitality Association of Indiana and the Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers, Debra manages the day-to-day functions of the Associations including staff management, general information inquiries and board administration and development; as well as participating in the strategic planning and implementation of revenue development strategies. As Office Manager for LMV Consulting, Debra also provide staff and project oversight to provide our clients seamless administration. A 16 year veteran in trade association management, Debra also provides experience as a former restaurant owner and is a registered instructor for ServSafe(R) Food Safety and ServSafe (R) Alcohol Service. She is a resource to members with questions on regulatory issues such as food safety, alcohol beverage and teen labor laws. Debra is a graduate of Indiana University and is currently a 3rd year student in the Institute for Organizational Management program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Ivy Tech Hospitality Program Advisory Board, American Society of Association Executives, Indiana Society of Association Executives, International Society of Restaurant Association Executives and the Indiana Environmental Health Association. She volunteers with Second Helpings, a food rescue, hunger relief, job training program, and the Professional Karate Commission where she was nominated for “Woman of the Year” in 2001. The Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers recently presented her their “Outstanding Service Award” for 2006.
